Ye Hongxing, Dream World No. 15, detail

Set behind the flagship stores of Oxford Street, The Scream Gallery is refreshingly authentic and independent.

Housing an incredible collection of sticker montages, Ye Hongxing is a Japanese woman who spends her life playing with stickers; proudly bearing images ranging from guns, to traditional anime, to pokemon, to rainbow fish, the results are phenomenal. Compositions of tigers, kittens, fish, Buddha and Tokyo, all formed through layer upon layer of smaller commercial tack placed purposefully next to one another. Modern versus natural, technical fighter-jets structurally forming ancient Yogic practices, Krishna abides solemnly and spiritually across from commercial centres of the world.

One of the most remarkable aspects is the endless depths of the exhibition. From composition to morphing mass-production into individuality, to the discovery of modern-day Pointillism – this is educational as well as spectacular.
